TLC inspires a love of learning within all of our students.
As a family-focused preschool, we nurture and guide the emotional, social, cognitive, physical, academic and spiritual development of children aged 2-5.
Our commitment to family-focused care means we:
Develop relationships built on trust and confidence.
Promote partnership with families through regular communications and family-focused special events.
Respect and support parents’ efforts to advocate for their child.
Value and appreciate diversity and inclusion.
Provide each child with TLC.
Our core principles are anchored on our beliefs that:
Each child is a unique individual.
The process of learning is more important than the end product.
Children develop at different rates.
Children learn through play.
Children should be encouraged to be independent.
Parents and teachers are a team.
TLC’s school programs ensure a creative and collaborative approach to academic excellence.
In our Beginners program, our earliest learners – starting at two years old – begin developing their independence through fun learning experiences. They also build valuable skills by interacting with the world around them.
The fun and excitement of learning through exploration continues in our explorers classroom. Children are introduced to a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in more structured ways.
As our children prepare for kindergarten and beyond, our pre-K classroom helps them develop essential early learning skills including building autonomy and taking on increased responsibility for caring for themselves and their classroom.
